Anybody else observe this? Has business in Chang Ping really become that bad? Perhaps from over-saturation of the market and the bad reputation from it getting to be too expensive whilst providing bad service..... by girls who's now really got such bad attitudes? Prices at other places are just as high if not higher, but very few others have such a large concentration of similar, competitive establishments in one place.
But then again, for every one's that moved out, there's probably one or more attracted to the bright lights of Chang Ping!
Just wondering.

taikor, i see the situation differently.
based on my silly observation, i don’t see the reduction of cheongsters going to cp in these few months. take this forum for example, the guys that went to cp one year ago most of us still going. and whenever i travel during thur/fri, in the flight for sure there are few groups of guys going to cp (can notice based on their conversation).
you may hear “business is bad” from the girl, from the ktv/sauna manager, tour agent, driver and even hotel front desk, my silly opinion this is due to the spread demand.
while there are more and more hotel/sauna/ktv opening up (2 more new hotels to come in months time), the increased of the new supply will taken away the existing demand share. thus, those joints that previously having the good business, surely will be impacted to certain extend.
to me this is a good sign, this prevent the price fom going up again.
from my selfish consumer point of view, the failure of hmtl opening is a good indication. if it is successful, they might aggressively adjust the price higher and there will be more girls to join the higher price category. this will then create the chain effect, pricing for hotel guest room will up, ktv spending up, taxi fee up and etc.
see what happen now, because the response was not positive, no one dare to adjust the price further. and because of the spread demand, those existing joints are getting lesser customer thus it created lesser income for them.
in fact, i see a slight downtrend. my MF girl who promoted to model cat for one month plus, now downgraded herself back to 300 cat. she was saying she can get more customers when she is not model. by playing with her strategy, she would get more income when she sits for 2 customers per night when she is not model, rather than 1 customer while she was model.
mm price (being ktv or sauna), has gone at least by 20% in last few months due to hmtl opening (i must say 20% is a conservative figure...), but it is not everyone can sustain with this high price. for those who cannot survive, for sure have to think about the alternate, like moving to other joint/town/city.
this also apply to the ktv/sauna/hotel. we have seen how amazon being “killed” by taoyuan, then taoyuan close down due to the opening of yh/oy. those who cannot survive in the competition, will have to quit. mm/mummy move out is nothing comparing to such close down.
to me, this is a matter of demand and supply issue. if the supply could be filled up quickly and the old and new joints are getting the peak for their businesses, price will up higher.
but history has proven that this is not the case, it will take a while to stabilize the new pricing and for sure someone will not able to cope with the new competition and someone will just quit, being hotel/ktv/sauna/mm/mummy.
cp light rain today and lazy to go out, so have free time to talk cock.
