I am not pouring cold water on your trip but really? Who knows? The central garmen (GOD Forbid!) might sweep clean this town like Zhuhai or the prices may be increased further after the next CNY. Again, who knows? By the way, you travel period is during the Canton Fair (Starts mid-April) period. Will be a pack with people time to be there. Hotels will cost a bit more and KTVs' will be full to the brim.

IMHO - All you need to do is to monitor the situation in this and other forums about this place. I think I am the only one who has and will answer your question since your trip is not on till seven months from now.
