Re: How to make GL better and better?

The moment they let in the PRC gals and then stopped granting full tenure to incoming Malaysian gals was the beginning of GL going downhill.

Those uncles who had the privilege of enjoying the Malaysian golden era of GL can share many legendary memories that youngsters can only imagine.

The first batch of PRC gals were dongguan-trained, and they nearly wiped out the Malaysians. But the batches of PRC ladies that came after that weren't as great and the quality continues to slide till this day. New Malaysian ladies did not want to come to work here on a 2 year contract only to be banned from entering Singapore subsequently.

end result we get a steadily deteriorating pool of PRC gals most of whom know little about what is real service

worst still, issuing new licenses is almost unheard of. if these current batch of okt retire or quit, that's the end of GL.

the net result is a wave of freelancers coming to Singapore. If AV is reading this, please don't treat GL like it is a cancer to be stamped out. keeping the legal scene well run and with quality can divert the need for freelancers, thereby keeping the trade under the control of authorities.
