Indon getting job here

Sorry if this is not relevant here. But i seeking advise from all bros here. My indonesia wife to be need a job or permit to stay here. Anyone can recommend? What kind of job available for her in sg? We just came back to sg so i abit lost here though i m sg.

If she needs a permit then go ICA n apply for 1. Why are u lost?? If she wants a job then depends on what she can do... if she used to be CEO of a MNC, then shouldn't be a problem finding a job in SG. Try jobsdb, jobstreet and the list goes on.

Ica? What kind of permit can she go apply there? I tot must be company apply. I can only extend her visa to 60days. Cant more then that right?
She just a normal girl. Used to work in kiosk in malaysia and sewing.

U need to read up more from ICA website on what type of visa your wife can apply. Example, LTVP. Go n read if u r lazy to read and understand how SG immigration works then no one can help u.

I did read up alot of thread here. Maybe i did not state clearly. I am married in malaysia before and ltr left without divirce but not reg in sg. Now i want to marry this indon girl in sg reg in rom. Before i can do so. She also want to find a job here. But what kind of job and is there any agency to take her in for job so she can work here with a permit n stay here.

60days? so she's on a short term social pass,oso meaning she's not allowed to be employed.u'l need to apply for a long term(LTVP) for her prior meeting the requisite,then she can look for a job & the relevant employer will do the documentation.

u can ROM b4 the permit expired,but your marital status is 'married' from another country.do consider this,the authority might not trace,but u will b making a false declaration in ROM.if 1 day tings complicates,both of u r deem answerable.

Yes. I am aware. That is why i am considering getting her a permit 1st while i sort things out with malaysia. Is there any easier way to "get" wp?

i reckon your main objective is for her to stay in spore for now??
wif the tightening of the labour regulations here,wp r not s easy to com by.wp holders are not allowed to 'get married' during their employment period too. upon expiry or cancellation, a 'permission to contract marriage' will oso need to b file to MOM prior to ROM.
u might wana consider som other alternatives?

I tot of getting her enrol in private sch to start off with english courses and ltr diploma etc. With that probaly she can stay and study using student pass. Any comment?

Hey TS, I think that student pass is the best route..try mdis or private schools..though expensive but its a better chance for her to stay in Sg.

Thanks. I too think this is the best. Anyone know where to find those home based job like packing, folding angpao or sewing etc. She can work from home to cover school fees.

Just heard from a wp agent. Above 39 yrs old cant get a student pass? Anyone got info or agent? I check ica site not mention for indon
