I have been CP for 7yrs. From affordable to okay to expensive and now very expensive!

Any recommendations on places to have fun like CP standards with more reasonable spending.

May I ask if any bros stayed there before and if there is any in house massage for a jet lag rub?

-Where should I visit to find fashion stuffs ard tian he?
-if I wana visit tian he wholesale and be close to gz east station which hotel will u recommend?
-is the cab fare same as cp $20 rmb for any part of gz?

donlord is a local 5 stars. i got customers that stay there before. i find the hotel slightly old. but still acceptable. im sure there is in house massage. u can ask bell boy, just tip him 10. got a ktv just beside the hotel, under the same hotel management.

for fashion stuff in tianhe, u shld go tee mall (天河城）, tai koo hui(太古汇), 万菱汇 area. this is the area, where u find fashion like zara, h&m, LV, prada etc.

wholesale mkt is not in tianhe. wholesale mkt is near gz main train station 广州省站. it is Yue Xiu district. note there are 4 train stations in GZ. South, North, East, and Main.

gz is much bigger than cp. start up taxi meter fare is rmb 10. fare depend on the distance u travel.
eg: gz east train station to donlord is probably 20+
gz east train station to gz main train station is probably 25+

if u want to come in OCT. avoid canton fair period, this is the time where cabs are harder to get, restaurants got longer queue, hotel rates doubled.

when i first went to CP. 2-5-8 was a norm. now.. i think no more 2-5-8 liao.
inflation too much in CP.

pls tell me if you find out somewhere else with reasonable pricing!

Urgent help

Hi to bros based in Guangzhou . I am a regular to china but this time I m coming there for personal reasons if any bro here can help out to be an interpreter for me as I am a non Chinese . I have to speak to some official about some issue and my lousy Chinese is not going to help . I can blanja a bit lah that we can talk over . It will take maximum one day either Tuesday or wensday if any brother can help please me much appreciated

i suggest u better get a Chinese who can help you do interpretion.

Opposite the hotel at ground floor is a SN. I think can get discount if you tell them you stay in the hotel. I try it and offer HJ include with the price. The name of the SN I think is Palace. The entrance is directly opposite the hotel entrance.

I think it's called 金澱休闲会馆。

Tried it once also. offered HJ but must extend the session by paying 30 mins more.

However, once HJ finish then it's over and I left.

严打 = 严重打击 if i am not wrong.. Which means crackdown in China... Those are often periods like this in every part of China, especially during Canton Fairs, Festivals, or when big shots are visiting the city...

Even though the main doors of saunas in Huang Qi appears to be closed these few days, you can still call up your regular manager, to arrange for you to go in from their back doors... Hi bro, I will be going to GZ and staying at Guangzhou Hotel (Heard that there is a JKY spa from this thread) if I am not wrong
As I will be arriving in GZ in July at the dreaded hour of 2am and most prob reach hotel at 3. Just wondering if any kind bro can share if JKY Spa operate 24hrs so that I can save one night on hotel.
If yes (24hrs) what is the damage like for massage with FJ
