China girls coming to sg had provided tough challenges for sg & msia women based here. In my office, those sg & msia women really dislike PRCs girls because they had a perception that china girls will snatch away their jobs & prospective husbands.

But my personal view is ...mi welcome the china girls here because their existence make the sg & msia women felt they are not above the world.

Like many bros here, I think there are good and bad PRC gals. If you have no evil thoughts, you won't fall into evil ways.

good pts:
they can cook well
they tidy the house.
they do washing and drying.
they do all house chores.
they can take care of the house.

bad pts:
they try to make use of one's kindness, feelings, emotions
they squeeze every little drop of you
money is everyting and anything.

Wow, I think we are being quite unfair to the PRC girls. I think girls from anywhere will make use of their looks and assets to get what they want. Be it malaysian, sg, thai, viet, pinoy, indo...anywhere. Maybe it's because the ratio of meeting a bad PRC is much higher since they have such a big population??

However, I do want to point out, that perhaps it's their culture towards money as well?? Looks at all the news about PRC, fake baby formula, poison in toothpaste, lead in toys and fake buns. Although I read today that the fake buns was a hoax by a reporter to get a scoop, but who knows?? It might be the chinese goverment trying to do damage control.

The point is, it seems that the attitude of chinese towards money is that, I don't care if babies die, I don't care if I poison people, as long as I can make as much money as possible, I will do whatever it takes. That is a very scary thought, because just image what they will do to get money from men. Of course not every single person in PRC is like that, but I believe it does have a certain amount of influence on how their people tends to behave.

u can c dat there r more n more foreign (prc, vietnamese, ...) students in secondary schools, polys, uni's here ... n bcos of ze diff environment dey were brought up in, dey hv a diff view and mindset on bgr and families ... n dey happen 2 coincide wif wat ze local men look 4 in their expectations of a wife ... n local men wil find dem more attractive dan ze local women ... these students wil grow up 2 b women ... n dey r decent women ... in future, dose locally born n bred women wil hv a hard time finding a husband ...

if u want a prc wife, betta dun get dose who cum 2 work here, esp dose who work in pubs, ktvs, etc la ... u noe dey r only here 4 money ... n dey r only interested in getting as much money as possible in ze shortest time ...

of course, nothing is absolute ... if u look hard enuf, u wil definitely find cases 2 prove otherwise wat me wrote in ze para above ...

if possible, get in china ... thru relative's recommendation ... or try 2 work in china n get 2 noe ze women there ... me thinks ur chances of getting cheated in these cases r lower ...

I have many gf in shanghai, they are very smart and pretty

Well, just to start, i work in Shanghai. If you ask me, i look up more to the chinese than the Ang Mo. I have entertain lots of pple, Ang Mos are very very neow pple. For chinese we can buy drinks for everyone round the table but i have met lots of Ang Mos who will no buy back in return & rather sip their 1 bottle of beer or cocktail for the rest of the evening. Lots of Ang mo in shanghai nowadays & a lot of ang mo wannabes as well. Impressing pple by speaking broken english.. What the hell..

But i will not choose Shanghainese as a partner. For a fling, can be considered but not on long term. They are just too calculative, you can ask anyone who is working here as an expat who has married a shanghainese & you'll know. Its different for a chinese overseas than a local chinese here. Chinese overseas are more smart in certain ways & will have more "intentions". Its common among the locals here to say "Want to make money, go Sgp or find someone from Sgp".

Sgp men are highly sought after than other foreigners in our regions. Simply becoz we got no communication problem, we are more refined, & we are more chin-chye which they like. But not everyone can choose a life partner as a PRC due to cultural difference. Short term try-out maybe but for long, it might be a diff story. Pls don't get me wrong as i am not saying other foreign region men are no good. Its just based on the conversation with many chinese.

To me i would range shanghainese as vase, can be put at home to see or show pple. But if in need, you would have to auction off. Nice to see & nice to hold, once broken consider sold ! No money, you're in deep shit.. Well, its the culture here, but there might still be 1 good one in 100's !

In general, PRC gals who come to Singapore are here to make some fast and good money. That is why many resort to cheating. However, we cannot generalise and stereotype all PRCs to be so.

My personal experience, I WAS married to a PRC from one of the secondary cities. Her family, relatives, and friends are all very nice people. In fact, in order not to "disgrace" themselves, they have never once allowed me to pay for a meal or buy anything for them, or even give them a single cent for that matter. Many of them told me that they do not want foreigners like us thinking that all PRCs are blood-suckers. Each time I visit them, I will be given loads of gifts to bring back home.

My sister-in-law, also from China, is another classic example. Married to my nearly-good-for-nothing brother, she had to toil and earn her living doing odd jobs here and there to support the family. Never once did she ever complained about the kind of hard life she has to live in. She pays for the household expenses, children's education, etc. In fact, she is almost the most filial towards my aged parents amongst my family (my siblings as well as their spouses).

In my course of KTV cheonging, I have met some who are all out to cheat, and I have also met a handful who are simple and nice gals who just want to earn what they deserve and in a very decent way too. Some would cook for me, some would simply want to watch movie and contented to eat in foodcourts, some would insist they pay for the dinner occasionally, and some would just want nothing more than snuggle with me at night (no sex of coz if you would believe me). These are the lonely gals who just want some friends. They have never asked for money from me, and don't even accept my money when I'm at the KTV. Instead they would butterfly around to make some money for the night but spend some decent time with me when I'm there. Many had left Singapore but we still keep in touch occasionally.

There may be many who were burnt by PRC gals, maybe I'm just the luckier few...
