I didn't like it there so after finishing sec 3, I self-studied for a year and did O's last year but did not do well enough so I'm doing it again this year.

Me: Whoa, so you are... 18 this year? Your parents allowed all that?

Me: I did sec 1 and 2 at a government school but didn't like it and finally manage to convince my parents to put my in a private school, so I've been here only since last year.

We casually chatted about anything and everything throughout the day, introduced her to my group of friends in school, went for smoke breaks and lunch together, we finished class at 3pm that day, went for a cigarette then headed off. We started hanging out during school time, going for smoke break, lunch break, grabbing snacks and starbucks for the rest of the week. I found out she just broke up with her ex-boyfriend of 2 years, about 2 months ago. He was older than her by 3 years and was a very active and high ranking gangster. His dad is a highly ranked gangster too. They were very close and she lived with him for the last year of their relationship. Her parents did not like him and were always nagging at her and trying to make life difficult for them, so after a year, she finally could not take it, she left home and went to live with him. She also neglected all her friends during her 2 years relationship with him and hangout with him and his friends and family all the time. So now after breaking up with him, besides being upset about ending a 2 year relationship, she also realised she had no one to hangout with and nothing to do. She went back home and made up with her parents, she also started to get her life sorted in her own way. She started doing hot yoga 3 times a week, a month ago, she alternates between a 35 to 40 mins run and a 30 mins swim everyday and also does simple workouts like push ups, sit ups, squats etc for 45 mins everyday.

We made a pact to study together for 2 hours at least, monday to friday after school. Unfortunately, she lives in a condo too, somewhere near to serangoon gardens, and I told her I live in a condo in novena, so I could not come up with an excuse to join her or invite her to my place to run, swim and workout. Not much progression for the next 3 weeks but we hangout monday to friday during school time and studied together at the starbucks closeby after school. In the fourth week, thinking that we're getting along really well and spending so much time together, I just decided, fuck it, I asked her if she would like to workout together and she agreed happily.

Isabel: I didn't bring my exercise clothes, towel and shoes, so we do it tomorrow?

Me: Ya sure, so you're coming over to my place tomorrow?

Isabel: Yes, your condo is newer, the facilities should be better. Hehe.

Nothing out of the norm happened the next day, it was the day before good friday, so we did not have school the next day. We decided to do less studying that day after school, since we've been studying a fair bit faithfully for the last 3 weeks and it is only march, we've still got plenty of time. So we headed to my place around 4:30pm. My dad travels frequently for business and was out of town, mum probably went to pick Ian from school and still outside somewhere.

Isabel: Whoa, your house is quite nice.

Me: It's alright, my room is the last one on the right and the toilet is just before it. Just leave your stuff in my room after you changed. I'm going to make a cup of milo first, you want anything?

Isabel: Yeah a cup of milo sounds good, make one for me too.

The gym was quite packed, a long weekend ahead and it was around 5:30pm, thankfully 2 treadmills were free and we quickly went on it before it gets taken. We did a medium paced 7km run, completed it in abit more than 30mins. We then proceed to the matted area for static workouts, she was covered in sweat and that made her have a slight glow. She took her t-shirt off and gave herself a quick wipe before starting our static workout circuit. I could not believe I've never noticed, she had a full back tattoo, it was a multi coloured phoenix, Japanese style and it looked like it goes all the way to her bum or at least half of her bum.

Me: Whoa, you never mentioned you got a full back tattoo. It's beautiful.

Isabel: Thanks, well... you've never asked.

Me: What other tattoos and piercings do you have then.

Isabel: hahah, I've only got my full back piece and a labret and a tongue piercing.

Me: Whoa, how come I've never seen you wear rings or studs? Apart from the one on your earlobes.

Isabel: Because school don't allow and we have not gone out during holidays or the weekends.

Me: Are you free tomorrow or this weekend?
