How can i know from the FR's if they speak english?

Depends on whether coming back for holidays, work, marry etc.

Once the WL who entered Singapore and issued with a Yellow Card, their status would be marked as "over-stayer" ... They are not allowed to re-enter Singapore for two years after departing. After two years, they need to apply VISA and must have a guarantor before they could travel to Singapore (including for leisure) again ... The following are some of the rules of WLs whilst working in GL:

1) Not allow to marry a Singapore man (forever unless they register their marriage outside Singapore);
2) Not allow to date Singapore men (not even on dinner date). Only their OKT can bring them out;
3) Not allow to work outside of GL;
4) Not allow to solicit for business whether within GL premises or outside. Exchanging mobile numbers or telling potential punters where they work once outside the brothels (whether outside GL or not) is considered as a form of solicitation;
5) Not allow to check into hotel and/or go to a man/customer apartment;
6) Once the Yellow Card is terminated, it is non-reversible.
7) Yellow Card holder cannot convert to White Card status but vice versa is possible.

How Accurate is Paternity Testing ?

"Nowadays ICA officers do not have the discretion to 'pass or deny' visitors entry into Singapore. They are guided by the computer screen which will show 5 colour codes when your biometrics and/or particulars are scanned or keyed in.

Red - on the wanted list (detain subject)
Brown - on the blacklist (no approval)
Orange - has previous records (interview subject)
Yellow - person of interest (give short term visit or interview for longer visit)
Green - all clear (approved)

All ICA staff manning the checkpoints have to follow the codes in whether to grant / deny entry and they are answerable for their actions. Gone are the days when they can use their "discretion" on whether to give you 3 days or 14 days as they like.

Technology is so advanced nowadays that images are transmitted "real time" back to ICA HQ if any of the officers encounter any problematic cases at the checkpoints. And yeah and that includes the interview room which is fully recorded whatever happens inside."

What is a merkin ?

A merkin is a pubic wig - origins 1450.

In the 1600s, merkins were frequently worn by WLs to help cover up evidence of STDs. The WLs would shave off their pubic hairs to get rid of pubic lice which could cause intense itching. In the days before antibiotics, it was common for WLs to become infected with syphilis and gonorrhea.

The first symptom of syphilis is a painless open sore, which usually appears around the vagina or on the penis. Gonorrhea also affects the genitals of both sexes. It causes itching, a yellow or green discharge and burning or difficulty with urination. Merkins would cover up the symptoms and were thus a boon to WLs (in those days).

Now used as decorative items, erotic devices, or in films, by both men and women. The female version is usually made of fur, beaver pelts, linen or some soft version of cloth, while the male version is usually made of loops, chains or metal, much more closely related to the codpiece.
