It isn't that there ain't no "cheap and good" places left in Singapore. Just that these same places do not appeal to those girls.

I'll rather think that Singaporean gals are more materialistic and want better survivability conditions. Not that they do not want to date their local counterparts, just that not many high flyer positions are offered to the locals and thus, the mentality of some local guys still go for cheap and good.

And how do we know TS is local?

try free flow alcohol drinks at 35 Perak Road whom me and my friends had been there a few times. There have happy hours from 2pm-5pm & 8pm-11pm @ 35/head quite a good bargain with Hoegaarden/Heineken beers and Wines etc
