Thumbs up Gay Loong "very concerned" by MRT fiasco

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

If this gay fucktard sorry excuse of a PM was very concerned, why then did he allow an incompetent Ex-SAF general to run SMRT and an incompetent ex-Admiral to run LTA? Where was his concern when these fuckers were being appointed? I did not hear him raise concerns over their competencies to run these orgs. Ultimately, the buck stops at him, no?

PM Lee 'very concerned' by MRT disruptions
Authorities are still trying to get to the root cause of the problem, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong says, adding that staff membersand engineers from the Land Transport Authority and SMRT worked through the night to check trains, tracks and cables.

SINGAPORE: Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said he is "very concerned at the major disruption to train services" on Tuesday evening (Jul 7). A power fault caused a 3.5 hour disruption to train services on SMRT's North-South and East-West Lines.

"I had just recently visited the SMRT Bishan Depot, to see their maintenance operations and teams. So I went to the LTA Ops Centre this afternoon, to be briefed on the situation," Mr Lee wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.

He added that authorities are still trying to get to the root cause of the problem, adding that staff membersand engineers from the Land Transport Authority and SMRT worked through the night to check trains, tracks and cables.

"Today fortunately trains ran without a glitch, so far. But because we have not identified the root cause of the power trips, we are still very worried that the problem may recur.

"Hope we identify and resolve the faults quickly, to prevent further inconvenience to commuters," he wrote.
