it always intrigues me how bro nono can maximize his budget and stretch his $$$. spending time to do the ground works and research. planning ahead and sharing knowledge. unfortunately i fancy more syt mostly prefers ktv/disco then bonk. so our style abit different... abit lazy i admit 555 but if have chance i would like to meet the man =D
am abit out of touch for batam as i have been bunking in bkk for past 1 yr+ lol. am surprised my half past eight bahasa is still working.

The problem of Batam is having TOO MANY people around who offer a ride on ojek, or car, or help whatsoever, not being alone without knowing where to go!

Just take the first ojek you see (be sure to confirm the fare BEFORE getting on the bike) and say "Kampung Bule". It's less than 5 mins from Nagoya Hill Mall, or from Formosa. Or, ask to go to Harmoni Hotel (NOT Harmoni Suites, which is another one). The few blocks in front of Harmoni pub No Name, towards the direction to Formosa, it's KB. You recognize you are there, because you see many pubs one at the side of the other.

In the map below actually the area indicated is too large. The oval should be smaller. Just remove the top half and it's ok.

Thanks for the info,i kind of gave up on that place about 2 to 3 months back ever since I found the Batam Best roti prata at Baba Street food court opposite Acia Food Court.

Its the best kosong roti prata I ate in Batam. Forget that Murtabak indian restaurant or the prata shop at Indo Rasa Food court. This one above beats them by at least 1 lamp posts base on my taste bud,hehehe...however the prata with egg isnt fantastic.

Oh,the satay there is not bad too...if you happen to like ibu joko satay,then the store there's satay can come close to it (can be called 2nd best in Batam,from my own perspective). Worth giving a try too.

Note that they usually opens during evening time,after 5pm.

suggest for newbie chionging batam ktv to avoid square if your aim is bring cewek back. for pure fun its ok.

grand i hotel is another ktv that can tabo girl @1.5 juta if you arrived too late and want younger cewek.

have tried another ktv but forgot the name ... cheaper but forgetable as its mainly catered for locals.

rm occupancy in formosa has always been high ovr the mani years,& at high occupancy rate,wich hotel in btm actually wld go the extra mile 2 help their guest solve ani would-be rm issue? Onli in formosa...& their standard has beat even 4 starred hotels tere.

But then,tis standard of service has dropped quite a bit tis year.
