Hi,

i realise alot of those gals dating site, start giving their hp numbers and ask me to contact them thru whatsapp. And the number is sg number, 8 digit.

Is it legit? by messaging them will reveal my hp number also. Is it a scam / trick to get your hp number?

Yes, I noticed this before as well.
I just cut them off because it is too suspicious because WhatsApp means revealing your telephone number and they could be harassing you with calls.

That's why I only use WeChat because I have an additional account that doesn't reveal anything about me.

There were "PRC girls" who asked me for WhatsApp saying they don't use WeChat. - I will immediately delete them because it is like saying "I am Chinese but I don't eat rice/noodles".

They can't hack your phone, phone cannot be hacked nor input of virus.
