Come 1 Jun, gov will ease the CB measures more and ppl could possibly start to return to work. However I am pretty sure entertainment outlets like theatre, spa, clubs, pubs, cinema, GL brothels, as well as exhibition venue or any event that attracts mass gathering of ppl will not be re-opened so soon .... these will be the last to re-open on condition that the community spread of this pandemic has subsided to a very low number (or zero) ... In the event that all the entertainment venues reopen, it is unlikely be status quo ante ... 🥺🥺

I did say you have the knowledge and analytical ability of a toddler. I like to do multiple saves and add on more things to fuck you over. You are correct.

If you recall, many of them actually willing to stay becos they were told at the end of March that GL close one month in Apr then they can start work in May.

GL was supposed to close on 27 Mar - 30 Apr.
That was what AV told the OKTs during the week of 23 Mar before the CCB .
At that time there was no such thing as CCB.

Then PM Lee announce on 3 Apr that CCB will start from 7 Apr and ends on 4 May which took all the WLs by surprise.
Some asked me what happens after 30 April? Will GL open?
I told them GL also continue to close until 4 May la.

But during the CCB period in end-Apr, the CCB was extended to 2 Jun and this again took them by surprise and many, if not all wanted to go home liao but no tickets in May.
Many were very tulan that 30 Apr becomes 2 Jun.

They say 1 month become 2 months, then later become 3 months and so on ….
They say if they had known that it will be suka suka extended like that then they will not stay in the beginning.
I think it make sense. How to wait if it is going to be an endless wait.

They say that if by 2 Jun, their boss cannot tell them a definite date then they will not wait anymore.

But how are the OKTs going to tell them a date.
Now nobody knows this wait is going to be how long.
Everyone knows that it is almost impossible for GL to open on 2 Jun given what our minister Lawrence Wong mentioned yesterday.

And if tickets are available by then I think nobody will stay and wait endlessly.

It is going to be a long long wait ……………..

I text many of them and ask if they are staying.
All told me they are still here becos there are no tickets available ………….

Only very expensive tickets and very very few available.

I was able to plug the info gap between GL OKT and WL. I said it would be early Jul earliest and customers must register their IC so nobody would go GL. I try to be helpful where I can. In any case, China and HK open up already so staying in Spore which is closed is really siao. Waiting for China Airlines...

Am not surprised that could happen considering that just a day before the suspension of GL operation (before 2359 HR), tons of punters made a beeline pronto at their favourite WL shops for the last quickie as no one know exactly when GL will reopen for business again ... 😝
